Lamunan Dosa

Gelimang dosa lamunanku
Ku zakiri nama-Mu
Ku tasdiqkan nazarku
Ku semati di hati niatku
Gundah gulana badanku
Panas membara tubuhku
Menggeletar jahat rasaku
Aku, daku, aku dan aku…
Mana kebesaran dan keagungan-Mu?

Istighfarku kumat kamit terpaku
Lidahku basahi, terpahat bibirku
Kalimah taubah dan keampunan nobatku
Mendesing bunyi bagai lebah hisap madu
Madu, susu dan habbatus sawda ubatku
Mujarab sembuh segala macam penyakitku
Tapi tidakku yakin hanya pada ubat itu
Keyakinanku serah semata-mata pada-Mu
Daku hanyalah hamba makhluk ciptaan-Mu
Kebesaran dan keagungan-Mu meresapi imanku
Ya Allah! Betapa ketakwaanku akan keEsaan-Mu.

beautiful song its too bad that all people can’t stop killing each other in God’s name, why is it that all parties claim to worship the same creator. But also kill each other and other members of their own religion in the name of God???

If we all worship the same God, why should he care which religion you choose, thats kind of like saying you can’t worship him unless you speak english or french….

Dear I hutchison, to kill or be killed? That may have been the question lingering on people’s minds in the event of a killing (tragic as it is). 😦

I wouldn’t know for sure since I’ve never taken any human life before (as Muslim or Islamic as I declare myself to be). I do admit that I’ve killed the occasional pests e.g. cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, bees, ants, etc. throughout my life’s journey. Having said that guilt-conscience has haunted me ever since. Why? Simply because my religion teaches me and all Muslims to never ever have to kill another soul or God’s creations like animals, too. Not unless by doing so, it could put you out of harm’s way.

So such a sinful act of killing and committing murder is heinous by any religious standards, I suppose, Islam or not. It all boils down to a matter of wise choices one has to make in life, I guess. So to you your religion and to me, mine, dear I hutchison. Have a great religion and God bless! 🙂

peace sadly many people have killed and claimed it to be right in the name of God. I must be honest and say that I don’t belong to any “religion, I believe in God and while I respect all “holy books” I believe the words in them to be written by moral men and not by a divine being.

Again I mean no disrespect to any religion, but I truly believe that God doesn’t play favorites over any religion. Its man that judges other men’s belief’s and claims his is superior over others.

Take care

You are a man of peace, Mr I. Hutchison and I respect that. Your points are all valid, no doubt.

When you said that: “Its man that judges other men’s belief’s and claims his is superior over others.” I agree with you on one side of the coin. On the other flip, though, it all depends on which Faith that man believes in.

A Muslim man who practises the Righteous Path of Allah the Almighty God as taught by the Islamic Holy Book, the Al-Qur’an, would respond to your assertion by simply saying, “Allah is the Best Judge and the Most Just (to judge) and God is the Most Superior over all His creations (including us mere mortals)”. If I may suggest try to browse through the English translation of the Holy Qur’an and maybe, just maybe, you will begin to understand the Universal Truth.

Speaking of truth, the Wikileaks Pentagon documents numbering some 400,000 pages which were revealed recently is one of God’s mysterious ways in opening the pandora’s box of US’s and its western allies’ hidden agenda of how ‘the coalition force of the willing’ carried out unnecessary torturous and barbaric killings of thousands of innocent Iraqis. For what truth?

Yes Peace, I have read that information also here, but all governments are guilty of covering up the truth, look at Saudi Arabia, they are one of the worst for suppressing information. There a woman can be stoned, or a thief can have their hands cut off. Again I respect you and the religion of Islam, both Christians and Muslims have committed crimes against each other in the name of God, even though God doesn’t ask them to do that to each other. Why should it matter to you as a Muslim what religion I choose to worship God under??

Why are both Muslims and Christians being attacked in India by other religions??

Why do people come to live here in Canada, and attack the western culture that allows them freedom of worship and yet in other places such as India and in the Middle East in place, Sunni and Shia Muslims kill each other, in Iran they openly attack followers of the Baha’i Faith

Does God want that?? I don’t think so

I very much enjoy our exchange of words, I look forward to hearing from you again,

Take care,

L

I quite enjoy your logical reasonings, too, L of Canada. I, for one, love your beautiful country and I’ve only been to Toronto on three visits ages ago. I hope now mosques for Muslims are easily found in that metropolis. Back in the 90s, I had trouble locating Islamic Centers back there, then.

But that’s the beauty of Islam, in the absence of a “Masjid” (the House of Allah), Muslims can pray in almost anywhere as long as it’s clean and not just any dirty, unhygienic or sinful surroundings e.g. inside a toilet, etc.

In our dialogue about this sensitive but all-important issue of Faith or indifferences between one religious belief toward other religions, I must forewarn you that I am not an authority on Islam. I am simply a lowly-educated Muslim who is still on a learning curve about my own religion. As a matter of fact, I am pretty much struggling with my own family now especially with my two growing up kids who are more westernized than their cousins in Toronto, perhaps.

So my take on the strict religious adherence to the Islamic Sharia’ laws as being practised in Saudi Arabia, I think that is how things legally should be, really. Stoning for both men and women committing the sinful act of adultery and cutting off a thief’s or a robber’s hand would be the most effective punishment to be meted out by any justice system, wouldn’t you think so, Canadian L ? Okay you may not get it now but try to think lateral logic and do some mind-mapping logically into such harsh punishments. In more colloquial slang — “Go figure!”. 😉

On the issue of suppressing information, I believe most Governments in the international community of nations have their own Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in so far as Official Secrets Acts (OSA) go, L . You may say, “Big deal!” there but that’s how proper governance works in some countries which arguably may not work in others. It all boils down to how different schools of thoughts view each individual Code of Ethics of varied ethical values as upheld in various sets of national identities. I don’t know for sure so you tell me what works for Canada. And I can tell you back, “Nope! That’s never gonna work in Brunei Darussalam… no way, Jose!”. So it’ll go on and on until we’ll come to a point of going for the middle ground whereby a certain set of common values can be agreed on.

Back to basics, if you could just try to study or review the history of the early days of mankind — say the story of Abel and Cain, is it in “Genesis” or the Bible for Christianity? In the Islamic Holy Book of the Al-Qur’an, Adam and Eve (“Hawa” was the Muslim name given) had a couple of sons by the names of Habil and Qabil respectively. So brace yourself for this story (indirectly related to your ‘killing’ concern). Please do make the time to read them all below which I’ve extracted from a learned Muslim scholar (The Story of Habil and Qabil “Abel and Cain”, The First Crime on Earth- Stories of the Quran: Posted by: Sohail Ahmed Shaikh on: June 18, 2008):

“Allah the Almighty says: {And (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him» recite to them (the Jews) the story of the two sons of Adam (Habil and Qabil) in truth; when each offered a sacrifice (to Allah), it was accepted from the one but not from the other. The latter said to the former: “I will surely kill you.” The former said: “Verily, Allah accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious).” “If you do stretch your hand against me to kill me, I shall never stretch my hand against you to kill you: for I fear Allah, the Lord of the `Alamin (mankind, jinn, and all that exists).” “Verily, I intend to let you draw my sin on yourself as well as yours, then you will be one of the dwellers of the Fire; and that is the recompense of the Zalimin (polytheists and wrong-doers);” So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fair-seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers; Then Allah sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him to hide the dead body of his brother; He (the murderer) said: “Woe to me! Am I not even able to be as this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother?” Then he became one of those who regretted}. (Al–Ma’idah, 27-31)

Narrated As-Sadiy on the authority of Abu Malik and Abu Salih after Ibn ‘Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) and on the authority of Ibn Mas`ud and other Companions that Adam (Peace be upon him) used to get the male brought by one birth married to the female brought by the other. Hence, it was supposed that Abel would get married to Cain’s sister who was better and more beautiful than anyone else. At the same time, Cain wanted to keep her for himself. Adam (Peace be upon him) ordered him to allow’ Abel to marry her, but he totally refused. Then, Adam (Peace be upon him) ordered both (Abel and Cain) to offer a sacrifice to Allah Almighty. Meanwhile, Adam set forth towards Mecca to perform Pilgrimage. Just before leaving, Adam tried to entrust (the affairs of) his children to the heavens, the earth and finally to the mountains, but all declined to shoulder the (heavy) trust. Thereupon, Cain accepted the trust and after Adam went away they (Abel and Cain) offered their sacrifices to Allah. Abel offered a fat she-goat, while Cain offered a bundle of bad plants. Later, a fire came down from heaven and consumed the sacrifice offered by Abel and left untouched that of Cain. Cain became livid with rage and said to his brother: I will kill you so as not to marry my sister, Abel said: {Verily, Allah accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious)}.

‘Abdullah Ibn `Amr (May Allah be pleased with both of them) said: By Allah! The murdered (Abel) was stronger (than the murderer, Cain), but he refused to stretch his hand against his brother to kill him due to his piety and God-fearing.

Abu Ja`far Al-Baqir mentioned that Adam (Peace be upon him) was present there when they offered their sacrifices. After Abel’s sacrifice was accepted, Cain said to his father, Adam: “It was accepted only from him because you invoked Allah for his sake.” And, he secretly intended something against his brother. One day, Abel was late and Adam sent Cain to look for him. The two brothers met and Cain said: “Your sacrifice was accepted and mine was not.” Abel said: “{Verily, Allah accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious)}.” Cain got angry and hit his brother with an iron rod and Abel fell dead at once.

It was said: Cain killed Abel by throwing a rock at his head while he was asleep. It was also said: Cain choked Abel violently and bit him to death as beasts do. However, Abel’s saying when Cain threatened to kill him: {If you do stretch your hand against me to kill me, I shall never stretch my hand against you to kill you: for I fear Allah, the Lord of the” Alamin (mankind, jinn, and all that exists)} (Al-Ma’idah, 28) indicated his good morals and ethics, his fear from Allah, and perfect piety that he may harm his brother, in contrast with the odious deed intended by his brother, Cain. For this, Abu Bakrah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) as saying: “‘When two Muslims confront each other and the one amongst them attacks his brother with a weapon, both of them get into Hell-Fire.’ He (Ahnaf, one of the sub-narrators) said: ‘I said, or it was said: Messenger of Allah! It may be the case of one who kills, but what about the slain (why he would be put in Hell-Fire)?’ Thereupon, he (Peace be upon him) said: ‘He also intended to kill his companion. “

Allah the Almighty says: {Verily, I intend to let you draw my sin (on yourself) as well as yours, then you will be one of the denizens of the Fire; and that is the recompense of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)}. (Al-Ma’idah, 29) i.e. I do not intend to fight against you though I am myself far stronger and tougher than you are, but you will {draw my sin on yourself as well as yours}, i.e. you will bear the sin of murdering me along with your previous sins.

Narrated Imam Ahmed, Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi on the authority of Sa’d Ibn Abu Waqqas his statement upon the ordeal of `Uthman Ibn `Affan that reads: I testify that Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: “There will be soon a period of turmoil in which the one who sits will be better than one who stands and the one who stands will be better than one who walks and the one who walks will be better than one who runs.” Someone said: ‘Allah’s Messenger! What is your opinion if someone entered my home and stretched his hand to kill me?’ Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: ‘Be just like the son of Adam (Abel). “Narrated by Ibn Mardwiyah after Hudhaifah Ibn Al- Yaman in another wording as saying: “Be just like the best of Adam’s two sons.”

Imam Ahmed transmitted after Mu`awiyah and Waki` their saying: We were told by Al- A ` mash on the authority of `Abdullah Ibn Murrah after Masruq after `Abdullah Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) as saying: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, “None (no human being) is killed or murdered (unjustly), but a part of responsibility for the crime is laid on the first son of Adam who invented the tradition of killing (murdering on earth). ” (Ahmed’s Musnad)

However, there is a cave, called the “Blood Cave”, in a mountain located to the northern part of Syria. It is thought to be the scene of the crime where Cain killed his brother Abel. The people living there came to know this through the People of the Book (Christians and Jews) and only Allah Almighty knows the validity or realness of this. .Al-Hafiz Ibn `Asakir mentioned in the biography of Ahmed Ibn Katheer that “He (Ahmed) saw in a dream Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him), Abu Bakr, `Umar and Abel. Ahmed came to know from Abel -who took an oath of that- it was his own blood (that was spilt there (in that very cave)). Abel said that he had asked Allah Almighty to make the invocations and supplications offered in that place acceptable. Allah accepted his own invocations and His Messenger, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) believed in that and said: I (Allah’s Messenger), Abu Bakr and `Umar used to visit that place every Thursday. “However, it is to be stated that this narration represents only a vision. Even if it were true, no religious ruling can ever be based on such a thing; and Allah knows best!

Allah Almighty says: {Then, Allah sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him how to hide the dead body of his brother. He (the murderer) said: “Woe to me! Am I not even able to be as this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother? “Then he became one of those who regretted}. (Al-Ma’idah, 31) Some interpreters said: “After Cain had killed his brother, he carried him on his back for a full year (not knowing what to do with his brother’s corpse!).” Others said: He carried him on his back for one hundred years till Allah Almighty sent two crows who fought against one another. One of them was killed. The murderer scratched the ground to hide the body of the dead crow. Seeing him doing that, Cain said: Woe to me! Am I not even able to do as this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother? Then, he buried the body of his dead brother and covered it with earth.

Historians said: Adam became very sick at heart and felt great sorrow for his dead son, Abel. Mujahid said: Cain was brought punishment very soon afterwards. On the same day he killed his brother, Abel, his foot was tied up to his thighbone and his face was forcibly directed up to the sun disk. His face used to go where the sun goes as a way of punishment and penalty in return for what he had done to his own brother. Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: “There is no sin more recurring punishment (very rapidly) in the present life, along with what awaits for its doer in the Hereafter, than transgression and severing the ties of relationship. “

Imam Abu J a’ far mentioned in his Tarikh “History” on the authority of some people who had said: Eve gave birth to forty children through twenty births. Ibn Ishaq viewed the same and he mentioned their names in detail. However, nothing is sure of their names or numbers. Only Allah knows best and no one else can know their exact number! Others said: there were one hundred and twenty births, in each one a male and a female were born. The first among them were Cain and his sister Qalimah, and the last ones were `Abdul Mughith and his sister Ummul Mughith. Then, humans increased in number and spread into the earth. Allah Almighty says: {O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women; and fear Allah through Whom you demand (your mutual rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you}. (An-Nisa’, 1)

Historians said: Adam did not die till he saw from among his progeny and offspring four hundred thousand persons (400.000). Only Allah knows best!

Allah, the Almighty says: {It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and (then) He has created from him his wife [Hawwa’ (Eve)], in order that he might enjoy the pleasure of living with her. When he had sexual relation with her, she became pregnant and she carried it about lightly. Then when it became heavy, they both invoked Allah, their Lord (saying): “If You give us a Salih (good in every aspect) child, we shall indeed be among the grateful.” But when He gave them a Salih (good in every aspect) child, they ascribed partners to Him (Allah) in that which He has given to them. High be Allah, Exalted above all that they ascribe as partners to Him}. (Al-A’raf, 189, 190) Adam was mentioned first to draw the attention of the reader of the Qur’an, then whom was mentioned second was the whole race of mankind. This is done by way of mentioning the whole race of mankind after mentioning the forefather thereof; Allah the Almighty says: {And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge and lodged it) in a safe lodging (Womb of the woman)}. (Al-Mu’minun, 12, 13); and in: {And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayatin (devils)}. (Al-Mulk, 5) Where it is well-known that the “lamps as missiles” are not the same as lamps of adornment, but He turned from a single category or person to the whole race.

Adam (Peace be upon him) was. the father of mankind. He was created by the Hand of Allah Who breathed out of His Soul into him, Who made the Angels prostrate themselves before him, Who taught him names of everything, and Who made him dwell in His spacious Paradise. Narrated Ibn Hibban in his Sahih on the authority of Abu Dharr his saying: “I said, 0 Allah’s Messenger! How many were the Prophets of Allah?’ He (Peace be upon him) said: ‘One hundred twenty -four thousands.’ I said: ‘O Allah’s Messenger! How many were the Messengers among them?’ He (Peace be upon him) said: ‘Three hundred and thirteen, a great number!’ I said: ‘O Allah’s Messenger! Who was the first among them? ‘He (Peace be upon him) said: ‘Adam.’ I said: ‘O Allah’s Messenger! Was he a Prophet sent with a Message?’ He (Peace be upon him) said: ‘Yes, Allah the Almighty created him with His Hand, then, breathed into him out of His Soul, then, He fashioned him (in a very proper manner). “

In the Night Journey Hadith that can be found in the two Sahihs -Al-Bukhari and Muslim -Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: “So the gate was opened and we went over the nearest heaven and there we saw a man sitting with some people on his right and some on his left. When he looked towards his right, he laughed and when he looked towards his left he wept. Then he said, ‘Welcome! 0 pious Prophet and pious son!’ I asked Gabriel: ‘Who is he?’ He replied: ‘He is Adam and the people on his right and left are the souls of his offspring. Those on his right are the people of Paradise and those on his left are the people of Hell and when he looks towards his right he laughs and when he looks towards his left he weeps. ” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Regarding the Prophetic Hadith that reads: “Then, I passed by Yusuf (Joseph) and I found him to be granted half of beauty.”Some scholars explained that it means that he was given half of the beauty Adam was granted. Indeed, this is very suitable and convincing! That Allah, the Almighty created Adam, fashioned him by His Hand and breathed into him out of His Soul, for all these Allah the Almighty must have created the best of all things.

It was narrated on the authority of `Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar and’ Abdullah Ibn ‘Amr that: When Allah the Almighty created Paradise, the Angels said: “‘Our Lord! Make this for us for You created for mankind the present world in which they eat and drink.’ Allah the Almighty said: ‘By My Glory and Loftiness! I will not equalize between the pious from among those whom I created with My Hand, and those whom When I said “Be “, they were!” It was narrated in the two Sahihs -Bukhari and Muslim that Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious created Adam in His own image with His length of sixty cubits, and as He created him He told him to greet that group, and that was a party of angels sitting there, and listen to the response that they give him, for it would form his greeting and that of his offspring. Adam then addressed them: Peace be upon you! They (the angels) said: May there be peace upon you and the Mercy of Allah, and they made an addition of “Mercy of Allah “. So he who would get into Paradise would get in the form of Adam, his length being sixty cubits, then the people who followed him continued to diminish in size up to this day. “(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)”

Dear Peace, Yes that was quite the reply that you sent me, again I mean no disrespect to your Holy Book, and so I will only give my opinion in regards to the bible. Which Chrisitans claim to be the book of God, but in truth was written by men to control other men.

Harsh justice such as stoning or cutting off the hands of a thief is cruel and barbaric, my God is an understanding and forgiving God, those actions are directly taken by men and not meant to be done to punish by God’s word.

Everyone should have the right to worship God without the fear of being attacked by others. The recent events in Iraq where when gunmen seized the Our Lady of Salvation Church during Sunday mass and 52 were killed by a group believed to be linked to al Qaeda..
Is that what God would want those who worship him to do to others who are also worshipping him within their own faith??

Why should the taiban be able to occupy a country, force their extreme beliefs on others. Refuse to allow a girl the right to education, and even throw acid in their eyes, is that what God would want them to do??

I think God would rather have mankind keep him out of their struggles to control and dominate others in his name.

I was once told by a person who claimed to follow Islam that if he could get away with it, he would kill me because I am a “infidel” What did I ever do to him??

From what I have read I believe the sad truth is that this “struggle” began when europeons attacked Muslims many centuries ago, over a piece of land.
I believe that we can live side by side in peace if we chose to do so, but there are those that want this “struggle” to continue on both sides

I do thank you for your words, they are beautifully written.

You are anything but uneducated my Friend,

Take care,

L

Yes, my global friend Canadian L, the world is getting to be a killing field, sad to admit. 😦 I am as dumbfounded as you are on why these so-called extremists had to bomb innocent people whilst in the middle of prayers.

Both in Pakistan and Iraq, even Muslims had been massacred in the House of Allah (the Masjid or mosque). To me, whoever the perpetrators or suicide bombers were, they’re not worthy of their religion once they’d committed such sinful acts of barbarism and cruelty toward the innocent and helpless.

Now back to my long-winded sound argumentation on religion, L :
In some of the Verses in the Holy Qur’an (Surah Al-Baqarah, in particular) for example, the Islamic Holy Book records the following argument between Allah (the Lord of the Universe) the Most High, and the Angels,
{Behold, thy Lord said to the Angels: “I will create a vicegerent on earth.” They said: “Wilt Thous place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood? – whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy Holy (name)?” He said: “I know what ye know knot.” And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the Angels, and said: “Tell Me the names of these if ye are right.” They said: “Glory be to Thee: of knowledge we have none, save what Thou has taught us: in truth it is Thou who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom.” He said: “O Adam! Tell them their names.” When he had told them, Allah said: “Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the Heaven and the earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?”} (Al-Baqarah: 30 – 33)

So in all honesty, I know nothing of religion whatsoever or why human beings kill other human beings, L of Canada, but I do know for certain that Allah Subhannahu Wataala (God the Almighty), the Wisest and the Most Knowledgeable knows the best! (Wallahu A’lam Bissawab)

Have a blessed Friday, L … 🙂

My Friend, I hope that you and your loved ones are enjoying good health, I don’t feel that your words are argumentative at all, if anything, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and opinions with me. Your Holy Qur’an is beautifully written and I wish that all believers followed its words to their fullest meanings.

I am glad for you that you find peace and knowledge in them, I enjoy reading what you share with me. I do believe in God and I place myself in His Hands, I recently had to deal with the possibility that I might have bowel cancer, thankfully I received good news that the tumour is not cancer. Throughout this time I never questioned God, why this was happening to me, but I had faith that whatever was to be my future, I didn’t fear death. But I did pray and hope that someday I would grow old and watch my children become parents.

I especially enjoy your letters and I look forward to hearing from you,

Take care,

L.

Alhamdullillah (Arabic for praises and thanks be to God), my family and I are pretty much blessed with good health. Thank you for asking, Canadian L and I wish you and your family the best of health, too.

I was supposed to go for endoscopy late last year but I completely forgot about the hospital appointment or I purposely chickened out! Hahahha LOL 😀

As far as possible I try not to depend too much on medication and much prefer meditation i.e. prayers because I am a firm believer in the reality that all illnesses could only occur by God’s Will. Likewise only by turning to Him could we knowingly or unknowingly discover the cures to diseases. In other words, the best cure is the Almighty. I know such a belief defies earthly laws of nature but He is the Lord Creator of the Universe. Period.

I’ve cheated death on many occasions throughout my life so you are right not to fear death. However, it is said that the last gasps of your life when the Angel of Death comes-a-calling, that would be the most painful experience ever as your soul departs from your body in spirit (or something to that effect, I wouldn’t know for certain). To remember death always is to be close to God, I think.

Anyway, like you said, most of us Muslims especially yours truly haven’t really grasped the full meanings of the teachings of our Holy Book: The Al-Qur’an. Due to our ignorance or too little understanding of the Qur’an, we somehow falter and easily get swayed by the whispers of the devil. And we’d go blaming it all on the western ways of the infidels when in truth we only have ourselves to blame, L ! 😉

Personally, I’m going though some sort of mid-life crisis now and still struggling to zoom in on a more focused approach toward the Righteous Path leading to the Light of Faith or in Arabic: “IMAN” or pious belief in the Oneness of God. 🙂

If I succeeded, then I’d be chastised by the western idealists but if I failed then I’d be another Osama bin Laden as the world’s Public Enemy No. 1! ROFL 😀 Either ways I still will be a loser in this temporary life but God Willing, maybe, I maybe one of the few good men in the Seventh Heaven up there somewhere out there far, far away in a more permanent world known as the Paradise… Amin! 🙂

So let’s all pray for our successes in this borrowed life and the Hereafter… AMIN.
